UTSA Libraries shares user satisfaction survey results
The UTSA Libraries recently administered LibQUAL+, a user satisfaction survey from the Association of Research Libraries to solicit, track, understand and act upon users' opinions on library facilities, collections and services. Through a four-week period from mid-March to mid-April, UTSA Libraries received 2,435 survey responses from the UTSA community. Overall, user satisfaction with the Libraries increased from 7.68 in 2019 to 7.73 in 2023.

UTSA has received a $10,000 grant from Driving Open Educational Resources Sustainability for Student Success (DOERS3) to implement the “DOERSS Equity Through OER Rubric” on campus throughout 2023, expanding access and enhancing the university’s efforts to provide wider access to textbooks and learning resources.

UTSA mourns the passing of one of San Antonio’s iconic artists, Jesse Treviño. A visionary, Jesse captured the joy and beauty of day-to-day life in San Antonio in his paintings. His realistic painting style captured the vibrancy of the people of Westside San Antonio.
UTSA Libraries opens JPL third floor with goals for the future

The UTSA John Peace Library's (JPL) third floor has re-opened as a brighter, more modernized space with new furniture, new study rooms and collaborative spaces. Connected to the iconic Sombrilla, the JPL is often referred to as the “heart of the campus” and is one of the university’s five original buildings.
The project is part of a multi-phased initiative to reimagine and transform JPL spaces and their furnishings to meet the learning needs of 21st century students.
